Technical Sales Engineer
Due to continued growth and ambitious plans for the future, an opportunity has arisen for a technically minded Sales engineer; with an ambitious and professional sales focus to join there team.
Since 1973 our client has grown to be a major specialist supplier of computing and electronics products for numerous professional and industrial applications. They serve international customers in numerous markets, including military, aerospace, transportation, medical and research. Success is largely attributable to employing enthusiastic teams of qualified engineers throughout the operation. This value-added strategy ensures that their customers receive solid technical support and knowledge - a level of service not offered by other manufacturing/distribution companies.
Your role as a sales engineer will require you to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients.
Ensure the team and individual targets are achieved, and exceeded.
Record and communicate new product suggestions and product decline indicators, to ensure there product range is kept up to date.
This role is predominantly office based working within a team. Our client does not just pay lip service to the idea of teamwork and actually pay commission on the basis of company and team performance. This ensures the culture is one of trust and group effort. It is a target driven environment but there is a very high level of training and support to help you achieve. There is a strong focus on developing people from within the company and encouraging personal and professional development.
A proven track record in sales is required, and a technical knowledge would be of preference, but not essential. Also you would need to be computer literate.
