Quality - Test - Software - Hardware
My client is a market leader in the development, design, integration and management of advanced surveillance technology and security networks.
They are currently seeking a Product QA Engineer who will be responsible for getting products ready for launch. The right person will create QA procedures, find bugs and classify them, which will involve software and hardware testing.
Responsibilities include:
"Manage releases & version numbers
"Compile a checklist of features and bugs to check
"Liaise with R&D to determine the features and fixes for new releases
"Keep track of what releases have been made and their features, bugs etc
Key skills:
Software engineering background
Understanding of QA procedures
Understanding of product testing
Experience with any bug tracking software is useful (bugzilla etc.)
Ideally candidates will be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline. Good interpersonal skills, good team player, positive can-do attitude, hard working and able to work under pressure and to deadlines is essential. Would also be good if the candidate had a personal interest in technology.
The position may lead to full QA management role for the right candidate. It is an excellent opportunity to further your career and advance your technical skills and understanding working with world class hardware, software and mechanical engineers.
