My client are looking for candidates with excellent academic credentials and up to a couple of years experience.
The skill range they are interested in covers:
Real-time embedded programming of imaging systems.
Image processing - image registration, fusion, enhancement, 3D imaging, algorithm development.
Software development - Java, C/C++, ideally with real-time experience.
Data fusion - tracking, Kalman filters etc.
Mathematical modelling - of systems, ideally sensor systems.
Knowledge of Matlab and LabVIEW would be very much of interest, as would any experience of programming FPGAs.
You should have a good first degree in a relevant subject (eg computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics) from a traditional university with an established reputation for engineering and science.
Experience with a small research company working in defence or space would be of particular interest. Due to the nature of the work candidates MUST be UK nationals.
