A unique opportunity has arisen to join one of the world's leading brands involving a mixture of chemical technology, automation & high level electronics and have an enviable range of proprietary technology and best-in-class services. Continued demand in the UK, continental Europe and South East Asia has led to the requirement for additional professionals including a Product Development Engineer to based in Burgess Hill.
Reporting to the New Product Introduction Manager the Development Engineer will function as a member of a team working to develop new products, through the conceptual design, development, testing, commissioning and integration phases. Key responsibilities will include:
Development of new designs / concepts.
Complex application analysis.
Testing, Evaluation and Analysis
Key Skills/Experience:
Have a genuine interest in mechanical engineering and possess an enthusiasm for product development.
Preferably have a minimum of 1 year experience in development or project engineering. Further benefit would be familiarity with rotating equipment design and manufacturing environment.
Be able to participate in standard specification analysis, support the development of new designs, develops and tests programs/specifications at all levels
Engineering experience will preferably have been gained in one of the following industries: Automotive, Aerospace, Power Transmission Equipment or Industrial Pump or Equipment manufacture.
Ideally candidates will be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline.
