An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principle Electronics Design Engineer based in Surrey, to join a world leader in the design and manufacture of environmental and oceanographic monitoring equipment.
They are urgently seeking an Electronics Design Engineer who has broad experience with specific expertise in analogue and digital circuit design preferably in an instrumentation development environment. The position will be contributing to all aspects of the product development cycle from requirement analysis through design and development into production.
The work will involve analogue and microprocessor based circuit design for precision instrumentation applications with significant involvement in real time embedded software development. Other duties will include technical support, project management and liaison with other departments.
Key skills/experience:
Assembler or C/C++ programming
Design & development
CAD tools (Schematic capture, PCB layout, Circuit simulation)
Candidates will ideally be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline and have gained experience within a similar industry, preferably instrumentation.
