The Client is a leading global supplier of display solutions for Simulation (flight, marine, transport) and Visualization (Oil & gas exploration, science & research, automation/manufacturing). They have established a worldwide reputation for supplying innovative, high quality, cost-effective display solutions with a high level of expertise and exceptional service.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Software & System Engineer to join this prestigious company. The role requires the planning and design of software primarily using Visual C++ and MFC. You will then be integrating this software with off the shelf (or custom) electronics. System work includes developing architecture that best meets the requirement including all aspects of project management and identification of solutions or software modules that may be required. This role will involve liaison with other departments both internal and external to ensure that projects are completed on time.
For this role you should be degree qualified in software or electronics and have extensive post-graduate experience in Visual C/C++ (including MFC and Win32) as well as knowledge of interfacing software to PC hardware via an API. Programming PC system elements and integrating to hardware will be a desirable as well as project management experience.
