Our Client is a utilities management business specialising in energy & water consulting, energy procurement (electricity & natural gas), smart metering and renewable energy solutions.
They offer excellent prospects for progression within an expanding & successful company. Their head office is at Redditch, Worcestershire, England. Their customer profile includes an extensive portfolio of industrial & commercial sites, high profile schools and public sector establishments.
Their experienced and professionally qualified energy consultants are based at strategic locations throughout the UK delivering for example The Carbon Trust's portfolio of Energy Management services. Our work ranges from conducting energy and water audits, detailed energy surveys, advising clients on the Climate Change Negotiated Agreements, design of energy efficient systems, project engineering of renewable energy solutions. Recent developments include smart meters for electricity, gas and water.
The Opportunity:
Due to increased client demand for sustainable energy sources they wish to recruit a Renewable Energy consultant who will work from a fully serviced home office serving their clients across the UK, Europe and overseas. There is no need to relocate to Redditch.
They are looking for one or more consultants with the following profile:
- Relevant Energy related qualifications (IMechE, CIBSE, Inst Energy, IEE)
- 5 to 10 years design and process engineering experience of energy sources such as wind, solar, ground source heat pumps, rain water harvesting, CHP, ice thermal storage, biomass etc.
- Evidence of ability to carry out energy & water audits and prepare proposals
- Self Motivated, self starter
- Ability to work on your own and away from home
- Confident approach working at all levels in Client organisations
- Excellent Communicational & IT skills
