Leading Semiconductor company seeks an: Embedded Processor / DSP Applications Engineer
The purpose of this position is to provide both proactive and reactive specialist technical support directly to customers and to Field Application Engineers in both my client's direct and distribution sales channels across Europe. This position will be a specialist role focussing on embedded processor and system support and DSP.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent plus proven experience in a design or applications environment.
- Experience in the use of FPGA's and / or ASIC development tools in a design or application support environment.
- Experience in the application of embedded processors and DSP in an FPGA or ASIC environment.
- Existing knowledge of embedded processor architectures would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Good knowledge of and experience of embedded software programming.
- Experience in the use of DSP processor architectures
- Excellent technical knowledge with skills and experience in using Verilog and/or VHDL and associated design analysis and verification tools.
- Good communication skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
