My client, based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk are a world leader in providing products, services and solutions to the broadcast, entertainment and media industries.
They are looking for a Product Support Engineer to provide post development engineering support for complete range of broadcast camera mountings.
Major Responsibilities & Tasks:
Provide engineering design support to manufacturing and product management.
Device and recommend improvements to engineering data management (EDM) procedures and tools.
Undertake design updates and enhancements of existing products.
Implement engineering changes in accordance with company procedures.
Administer and maintain engineering database and change management process.
Knowledge and Skills:
Competent in 3D Mechanical CAD (preferably Unigraphics NX)
Experience in Mechanical Product Design.
Proven ability to apply a systematic (analytical and "hands on") approach to problem solving.
Fully conversant with PC office applications
Excellent Communication Skills
Education and Qualifications:
Mimimum qualification of OND/ONC in Mechanical Engineering.
