3D Mechanical Designer (ProEngineer)
C£25k-£30k + Benefits

My client are leaders in research and development for a wide range of technologies and applications including industrial & consumer products and printing. They have an urgent opportunity for an experienced and highly qualified mechanical design engineer.
You should have at least an upper second degree, analytical problem-solving ability and 1-2 years hands-on Pro-E (or similar) 3D design experience on a broad range of complex electro-mechanical systems.
Applicants must have knowledge of areas such as injection moulding, stamping, casting etc. Medical device experience or knowledge would be advantageous. It is essential that you have development experience working with 'manufactured' products
I'm not looking for experience of low volume specialist kit, one-off designs or research type products. You need to have experience of managing the phased development process required to deliver complex, integrated, mixed technology products for high volume manufacture where production yield is a key requirement.
You must have been exposed to areas including new product development and introduction to manufacture or DFM, ideally gained within a consultancy type environment.
