Mechanical Design Engineer
Upto £35k + Benefits

My client is a leading manufacturer of instrumentation for the life sciences market sectors.
Currently they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to help create their next range of award winning spectrophotometers, amino acid analysers and other scientific instrumentation for the Life Sciences market
You will also be expected to contribute strongly to the design of the next generation of the products, working closely with the R&D Team to ensure a rapid introduction.
You should have a background in instrumentation combined with a Mechanical Engineering degree or similar qualification or experience, and be able to generate complex 3D CAD models, ideally using AutoCAD Inventor. Experience in the design of complex plastics mouldings is essential and a good understanding of the mechanical properties of moulding plastic and other materials an advantage.
