Engineering Designer to apply mechanical engineering design skills to create and develop new products. We specialise in the development of healthcare products inc. devices for drug delivery, diagnostic systems and machinery ranging from complete product development from concept to market, to consulting with clients on their processes. You will work alongside technicians, engineers, consultants and other designers engaged in one or more projects. These include: generating design concepts; produce high quality documentation; developing system requirements; implementing designs; analysis of system elements. You will be qualified in mechanical engineering, a high level of practical experience and at least 5 years in an engineering design environment using 3D CAD (Pro/ENGINEER or similar). You will have experience of designing plastic mouldings, optimising mould tooling and supporting designs. Experience in mechanism design, stress analysis, and use of other CAE analysis tools useful.
