Characterisation Engineer / Technician. The client publishes reference data books giving performance parameters of its range of Bluetooth devices. You will be to assist in running of the Characterisation test systems that produce this data. You will be expected to run on a day to day basis all of the test systems, including management of modules to be tested and the data produced. You will be familiar with PC based test systems. A working knowledge of both Access and MySQL data bases would be an advantage. You will Operate the characterisation test chambers, Maintain records of tested devices, Assist in the maintenance of the test database, General test and maintenance of the test systems, Aiding in the construction of new test systems. You will have experience of configuration of computer systems, databases, use of test equipment in an RF environment, good general knowledge on electronic systems, some knowledge of VB and MatLab and be qualified to an HNC, HND or degree level.
