Main Duties/Responsibilities:
To ensure all RF circuits correctly operate to specified limits over the whole range of component and environmental conditions.
Working as part of the overall development team to:
Identify and source suitable radio frequency components for use in products;
Design and develop analogue circuits operating at frequencies up to 12GHz, including amplifiers, oscillators, mixers, attenuators, etc;
Carry out designer validation on RF circuits;
Generate formal specifications and test specifications for RF components/circuits/modules;
Provide technical guidance to technicians and production staff to support product development and manufacture.
In addition, flexibility is a key requirement in this small company; all employees are expected to undertake other tasks as the situation demands. In particular, engineering staff are expected to help out with system testing, on site equipment trials, regulatory testing, etc.
