Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking for a new challenge within a fast paced and dynamic contract electronics manufacturer? Based in Weymouth, they provide electronic manufacturing services (EMS) to customers requiring PCB assembly, sub-assembly or full turnkey box build.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for improving product quality through the use of recognised Quality tools and mutual rapport with internal and external customers, and subcontractors to ensure right first time and on time deliveries whilst meeting the objectives of the business.
Key skills:
Experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment (electronics preferred)
Good understanding and experience of Quality tools (i.E. RCCA, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing)
Good auditing skills and knowledge of Quality standards, ISO9001:2000
Ideally candidates will be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline. Candidates must have the ability to work alone, be influential and able to drive change throughout the organisation.
