Our client develops innovative semiconductor products in the GPS / handset arena, and is seeking a technically oriented marketing or applications engineer with specific GPS (global positioning systems) experience. The successful candidate will be a talented engineer with an in-depth understanding of GPS systems, ideally also with an awareness of IC technology. The role is a key one within the organisation, with responsibilities including in depth consultation with customers, defining product specifications, liaising with senior management on strategy / development issues and working with the design team on defining what is possible and in what timescales.
