One of the northwest’s most well known building contractors are on the hunt for a Managing Quantity Surveyor. This is a rare opportunity to join a tight knit and dedicated team. Their current requirement is within their major contracts construction division. Projects are generally in and around Liverpool and Cheshire up to about £4 million in value. Examples of work include large multi-storey commercial and residential developments. Ideally you will have: at least 10 year post graduate/post qualification experience a relevant QS or construction qualification Commercial flair/business acumen Experience in commercial management of a division, capable of £30m per annum . Design build, refurbishment, new build experience in £500k - £4m range . Experienced in partnership, PPP, PFI and traditional commercial arrangements . Results driven, strong P/L and cash management . Excellent people skills, articulate with sense of humour ! Business development skills/IT skills essential . They offer an excellent salary package as well as long term career prospects with a thriving contractor with work throughout Merseyside and the Northwest.
