Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline (ideally Chartered and with a post graduate qualification in safety and environmental risk management), you will have 2 years design, safety analysis or safety and environmental risk management experience in a safety related industry such as petrochemical, rail, pharmaceutical, aerospace, defence. Experience of working in a contracting organization or consultancy is essential. Knowledge of the nuclear industry and understanding of the regulatory and licensing processes in the UK and Europe is desirable.
With excellent communication skills both written and verbal, you must be able to construct logical arguments and have good visualization skills and spatial awareness. Flexibility to work at different locations in the UK and Europe is very important and you must hold a driving licence.
