<b>Job Description</b> <br>We have a number of high profile projects to work as a Project Design Manager as part of our multi-disciplinary consultancy business. Your experience will include a variety of Project Management based roles within the design consultancy business where you are able to demonstrate your ability to work across a range of multi-disciplinary projects. <p></p>As Atkins are a true multi-disciplinary consultancy we are looking for an individual who is able to demonstrate excellent organisational and people skills and will have ideally progressed into Project Management from a design consultancy background, with experience within both the private and public sector. <p></p><br><br><b>Requirements</b> <br>As you will be joining an established team, we are looking for an individual who can provide the multiple sector experience detailed above, from a design consultancy background ranging from 3years commercial Project Management experience. <p></p>Your expertise will encompass: <p></p><ul><li>Proven Design Consultancy and Project Management experience<li>The importance of gaining client trust and respect <li>The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary delivery team <li>Experience of project managing design and build contractors <li>Multiple client experience and the relevant consultancy experience <li>IT literacy and use of MS Project <li>Any exposure or use of Project Management methodologies would be beneficial <li>Ability to develop client relationships and to promote Atkins in the market place <li>Closure focused </li></ul><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b> <br><ul><li>Arrange, chair and minute project pre-start and site progress meetings <li>Produce project progress reports <li>The ability to manage batches or bundles of contracts concurrently <li>Demonstrate excellent time and self management skills <li>Experience of working with other consultants as integral team members <li>Co-ordinate and agree handovers including snagging <li>Control of project handover documentation <li>Experience of project execution plans and content <li>Understand the need for Business Management Systems and ISO approval <li>Understand Practical Completion, defects and warranties in relation to projects <li>To provide Project Management responsibilities for all assigned commissions with the support of the Programme Management Team <li>Full client liaison internally for the Atkins team, and externally through the management of approved client suppliers </li></ul><br><br><b>Benefits</b> <br><ul><li>25 Days Holiday</li><li>Flexible Holiday Scheme</li><li>Contributory Pension Scheme</li><li>Life Assurance</li><li>Discounted Healthcare Scheme</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme</li><li>Share Incentive Plan</li><li>Childcare E-Voucher</li><li>Home Computing Initiative</li></ul><br><br>
