Electronics Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Drives, Inverters, PSU, UPS, SMPS, IGBT, Brighton area, Sussex, South Coast.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Hardware Engineer to work on the South Coast site in East Sussex. You will be working on Main Powered Drives Development (Control industrial pumps and rotating machinery). This is initially a 6 month contract with possible extension or even a permanent placement for the right candidate.
My client is a leading supplier of equipment and services to the world?s most advanced industries with design and manufacturing operations throughout the UK.
Ideally, you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) and experienced in commercial hardware design for motor control or power supply products (typically 200v/400v) used in industrial applications. Your knowledge should cover motor control principles and include safety and EMC standards (e.G. EN61010 / EN61800).
Please note that you will need to be already fully authorised to work in the UK.
