A major vacuum and exhaust gas management solutions company, who supplies to the semiconductor and flat panel TV/display manufacturing industries, requires a Design Engineer with particular key skill in mathematical modelling techniques.
This position involves becoming a key member of the team developing new and innovative designs for deployment in vacuum pumping systems. Your role will be the development of existing and new theoretical models for the prediction of all aspects of vacuum pump performance; pressure, speed, power, and temperature. This will require a good understanding of mathematical modelling techniques with the successful candidate being able to demonstrate a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
You will need to be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a technical subject with demonstratable relevant professional experience. Please note that you will also need to be already authorised to work in the UK.
