A major British company who designs, develops, and manufactures vacuum and exhaust gas management solutions. These systems are primarily supplied to the major players in the microelectronics/semiconductor and flat panel TV/display manufacturing industries.
They are currently looking for a Controls Engineer to work in a role that is primarily focused on creating, testing, and de-bugging Mitsubishi PLC Software created using GX-Developer and HMI Configuration using E-Designer. This includes the set-up and configuration of various elements that make up machines, so a good hands-on approach is required. Design and drawing activities are performed on PC systems, so the ideal candidate must be computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. You should also possess the ability to design control system electrical circuits, ideally using AutoCAD. Knowledge of machinery electrical safety standards is an essential requirement.
Please note that you must have a valid full UK driving license and EU passport as this job includes regular travel to customer sites within Europe.
