Are you an experienced Project Engineer?
Do you have experience working and managing mechanical and electrical projects?
Do you live in or near the Hampshire area?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to work within mechanical and electrical turnkey projects for my client who are an exciting and high technology firm involved in power supply and management. They currently have turnover of £10 million and wish to continue their growth pattern.
As a project engineer you will have the overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of a project from specification and design through to installation, commissioning and finally client hand over. You will carry out site surveys and organise equipment layouts to prepare for and ensure smooth & accurate installation of the appropriate power management system. You will be a strong a communicator and have strong technical experience so to provide support to their clients. You will create the plans for the project and have constant communication with client and colleagues. You will select the appropriate sub contractors for each project and then also be responsible for the management of them so to make sure all work completed is to a high standard. You will also have past experience in commissioning and liaise with commissioning personnel. Due to the nature of the role you will constantly face problems so you will be capable of dealing with these and providing solutions
You will have vast experience in project engineering or project management from a mechanical and electrical background. You will have familiarity of working on million pound plus projects. Ideally you will possess a technical qualification and have excellent communication skills with the understanding of the importance completing projects within budgetary and time constraints.
