Our client is a world leader in Civil Engineering and is currently working on numerous transport planning projects, both in the UK and abroad.
They are currently looking for a Transport Planner & a Senior Transport Planner with an engineering background and 1-2 or 5-7 years transport planning experience.
You should have experience in one or all of the following areas:
* Bus Priority * Pedestrians * Cyclists * Road Safety * Junction Appraisal * Transport Assessments/Development Control * Transyt/Linsig/Oscady/Arcady/Picady/AutoCAD/AutoSIGN
* Paramics/VISSIM would be useful but not essential
The role would involve the preliminary design and appraisal of a wide variety of highway schemes. As well as the design element of this position you would be required to manage, train and develop graduate engineers and junior members of staff.
