My client are a global provider of communications infrastructure solutions.
They currently require an Operations Manager to join their organisation.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the effective operational management of the Transport, RF Systems and Wireless business streams. These have an annual turnover of £15m with circa 60 direct office and field based employees plus contract personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
To manage the operational activity to ensure achievement of the financial goals - GM, direct overhead, contribution and balance sheet.
To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved in the delivery of programmes and projects.
To work with the sales team to explore business development opportunities and expand market share.
To develop operational business plans, organisation structures and strategies that ensure the ongoing provision of effective service levels.
Candidate Profile:
Commercial experience of operations management in a field based service industry.
High level of commercial awareness and understanding of key financial principles.
Excellent team leadership skills.
Ability to build good working relationships with customers.
