Mechanical Project Engineer (Vessel, pipelay)
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced mechanical project engineer to work on a long term contract for one of the major players in the oil and gas sector.
I am looking for a mechanical engineer with a background in the oil and gas industry, in particular with vessel equipment,
You will be responsible for a number of project activities including:
-analysis of existing equipment and further equipment requirements
- assessment of pipe routing
- analysis of power supply, cooling, etc requirements for mechanical equipment
- preparation of testing and commissioning documents
- design and engineering services
The ideal candidate will have
- previous project engineering experience
- ability to read and understand vessel schematic drawings
- experience of vessel engineering
