Software Quality Assurance Manager
C£30k-£40k

Leading and managing the software quality assurance provisions associated with software development, you'll guide and monitor the project teams and ensure that completed software meets customer expectations. Simultaneously, you'll help develop and evolve our quality systems, implementing changes as necessary.
The principal responsibilties will be concerned with the creation and review of quality and testing related documentation according to the Product Development Process. You will facilitate the creation and maintenance of appropriate "final approval" test strategies and test suites, and ensure that testing is planned, resourced & carried out and that the results are recorded accurately for subsequent interpretation.
You should have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and at least two years' experience in the Quality Assurance Management of embedded software in Consumer Electronics, Telecoms, Automotive, or Aerospace Industries. It is essential you have some basic software skills, knowledge of software project management and are computer Literate in current packages eg Microsoft Office Suite.
You should also have evidence of problem solving skills as well as good interpersonal skills.
The succesful candidate will be a self motivated, strong-willed but genial individual with demonstrable success in an Engineering Discipline. They will be a logical thinker with a flexible approach to conflict resolution in a multi-project environment.
