Our client is a global leader in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) sector.
You MUST have:
· Relevant degree & at least 2 years transport engineering experience (transportation modelling/microsimulation fields)
· Experience of microsimulation: PARAMICS, VISSIM, AIMSUN2, TRIPS, SATURN, EMME2 packages.
· Energy, enthusiasm & goal-orientated with the ability to communicate effectively, especially with customers overseas by telephone & email
· Ability to work in a small team with 1st class problem solving & organisational skills, self motivated & the ability to manage own workload/deadlines
You will have the opportunity to:
· Provide software & project support for clients throughout the world
· Work with state-of-the-art microscopic traffic simulation software in real life projects
· Influence the future development and deployment of the software at a global level
· Provide development support for new versions of the software
· Use your transport planning experience, build on existing skills & develop unique skills in microsimulation.
