Integration/Test Engineer (C, HTML, Test), Cambs/Herts border, Up to £45K, Immediate We seek candidates who are different from the traditional Test/Integration Engineers who usually perform tests to functional specification. We seek people who can think outside the envelope and who can test creatively and aggressively, trying to break the software and bombarding it with large indigestible chunks of code. Consequently, the ideal candidate may well think more like a hacker although one with the constructive approach. Key skills: · Minimum of two years’ relevant test experience in an embedded software environment. · An understanding of Conformance Testing and/or Stress Testing · Experience of using some or all of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and DOM. Please note that the JavaScript experience must be as a programming language and not as a basic (batch) scripting tool. Also, we are particularly interested in candidates with CSS, HTML and web experience combined and they will be given urgent attention. · Knowledge of programming in script languages and C.
