Our client, a major London based Insurance broker, is currently looking for a JUNIOR WEB APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER to join their team. Based at their prestigious offices located in the heart of the City, your role will be to carry out web-based development projects. For this role our client is looking for someone with excellent VB, VB Script, HTML, Visual Studio/Visual Interdev skills. Along with this you will be required to posses good CODING skills using VB (potentially in a desktop environment) whilst experience of delivering some web based solutions would be essential. Additional nice-to-have skills include: MCP in VB or Microsoft web based technologies, ASP, COM, and awareness of .NET, ASP.NET & XML. For this excellent opportunity, my client will be offering in the region of: £24,000-£27,000 & benefits. This is a junior position and we would be looking for candidates with at least 12 months or more experience within a similar role.
