Our client is an independent software consultancy, specialising in developing practical e-business software solutions. They provide technology services to a broad range of blue-chip companies and educational bodies. Recent projects include live, database-driven web sites, internet enabled workflow solutions, customer extranets, company intranets, e-mail marketing applications and content management systems. SUMMARY OF ROLE: Developer needed for work on complex web-enabled projects for blue-chip clients. Candidates must be graduates of a computer–related degree, with some solid commercial experience. Excellent technical skills are a prerequisite, plus the personal skills to deal confidently with client requests and meetings. There is a permanent role for the right candidate, plus a great opportunity to become a major part of a growing team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Working under the supervision of the Technical Director, the Developer position has the following responsibilities: project and ad-hoc development work, some application support and client liaison. SKILLS: Only candidates who are graduates of a computer-related degree, and with at least 2 year’s experience of working commercially with ASP, ASP.NET and MS SQL Server, will be considered. A sound understanding of object oriented software design and exposure to other web technologies such as JSP, PHP or Mysql. LOCATION: Central London (Blackfriars/Cannon Street) possibility of some on-site work with clients. START DATE & DURATION: Immediate. Initial Contract length is 3 months, with the likelihood of a permanent position for the right candidate.
