Web Applications Developer - Cold Fusion. An opportunity to join a small, established internet application design and support company based in central London. Your role will be focused on general development projects for various clients. Working closely alongside project management, design and support staff, you will also be expected to participate in the efficient and effective handling of client issues. You will be able to demonstrate, flexibility, advanced problem solving skills, self-motivation and a strong desire to learn though the guidance of the Lead Developer and Project Managers. You will need 1-2 years Cold Fusion and general development experience preferably supplemented with knowledge of Perl and PHP. Some experience with related methodologies such as Fusebox is a distinct bonus. This would be backed up with solid experience of HTML, CSS, Javascript and other associated core skills. A strong understanding of SQL and familiarity with MySQL, Access and SQL Server and their differences is also required. Any experience of associated technologies e.g., DHTML, XML, ASP, etc. would be a great benefit Some experience of working in both MS IIS and Linux Apache environments will be advantageous.
