Are you passionate about design?
A very exciting new position for a Graphic Designer has arisen with one of our favourite Clients. Due to rapid growth (our client now has a turonver of £7m), they are appointing their first in-house Graphic Designer to take charge of the development of marketing tools and promotions and to develop graphical or multimedia content for use in its products or website.
You will manage the initial overhaul and subsequent on-going development of the internet and extranet sites, develop online marketing campaigns including emails, micro-sites and banners and implement measurement across the entire online marketing function. You will also be responsible for developing icons and images for marketing or other business use, create multimedia software demonstrations as required and pdf factsheets and white papers.
You should have an expert understanding of the following skills: Graphics design, Industry standard multimedia packages; Director, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, Industry standard publishing tools such as Adobe Acrobat and Industry standard web programming languages such as ASP, HTML
Ideally, you will have some form of design qualification. You should have at least 5 years experience within a design agency or in a client-side environment. Here you will have developed many promotions, on and offline, using multimedia tools, websites and images. You will be able to take a brief, and on your own initiative, create innovative and attention grabbing designs that fulfil this. You will be comfortable working to tight deadlines.
Most importantly, you will be passionate about design and the contributions you can make for our Client. You should be used to working in an open environment where your work is freely scrutinised.
