Our client is looking for an experienced software engineer with core programming skills gained in a commercial environment. They are an IT Services company that provide high quality bespoke software systems and technical support to companies such as Jaguar Cars, Lloyds TSB and Elizabeth Arden. Primary skills MUST include Java (primarily in a J2EE environment), SQL, HTML and Javascript on MS-Windows and Unix platforms. Additional skills in VB, C and other languages would be of interest. You will be degree qualified and have at least 2 years Java programming experience gained in a commercial environment combined with the ability to take responsibility to help ensure deadlines are met. They present the opportunity for you to take a role in delivering interesting projects for their prestigious blue-chip clients. They offer a package that includes excellent benefits, and a salary between £23-£30k based on individual merits They are looking for someone that will enjoy their friendly culture and passion for technology as a preference to the best salary available.
