ASSISTANT MANAGER Our client is a rapidly expanding, successful, £60 million turnover group. With national coverage, they are the largest manufacturer of trussed rafters in the UK, and they also service the construction industry in the manufacture of I Beams, MDF mouldings, staircases and high performance joinery products. We are looking to recruit an ambitious, enthusiastic, forward-looking Assistant Manager for our roof truss plant in Avonmouth, Bristol. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will assist him in the day to day management of the branch and deputise for him in his absence. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following characteristics/ experiences: * A good motivator, who can led by example and instill enthusiasm into the team * An ability to learn systems and processes quickly, both office- and shop-floor based * A broad knowledge of processes within a manufacturing environment * An awareness of the importance of good customer care Experience in the manufacture of timber roof trusses or joinery products will be a distinct advantage.
