My Client is one of the World's largest manufacturers of consumer electronics and they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Human Resources Manager to be responsible for setting up contracts in close liaison with local HR and local Legal Departments, executing company incentive schemes, consulting to local companies on individual level and on the basis of the companiy Expatriation Policy (contract, compensation, transfer package, relocation, pension etc.), Ongoing improvement of European Senior Management Development Scheme / High Potential Systems, evaluating senior management positions in Europe in close liaison with local MD and HR, ongoing development of the central Internet & Internet Recruitment Portal, supporting local European companies with the Portal, developing and publishing of quarterly European HR Reports. Must have been in a senior role for more than 3 years, be conversant with pan European / cross cultural issues. Expat admin duties are about 10-15% of the role. Need to be able to speak to people at a senior level about comp/ben and development issues, ideally have a second language but not essential and be used to a standalone role, understanding how works councils operates in Europe would be advantageous and some European travel involved.
