The company is a specialist value added distributor who supplies a range of electro mechanical and passive components.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to generate and develop new direct business, whilst account managing a selection of existing accounts.
You will need to have sound interpersonal skills in order to effectively manage the Sales Office Manager and one other coordinator. The external Sales Engineers will require your support, which you will handle along side your internal reports. The Business Development Manager role acts as the liaison between the Sales and the Operational departments, ensuring smooth business operation.
Suppliers will be allocated for you to act as Product Champion. You will need to be able to select and prioritise suitable products in a strategic manner and contribute to developing new areas of business.
