The prime responsibility of the role is to develop business relationships with potential customers by working with the external sales force in order to generate bookings and billings for the company. This involves the ability to be able to effectively communicate both on an individual basis and as also from a joint perspective in order to negotiate with the customer to achieve the opportunity to quote on business and demonstrate the company's capabilities.
Whilst the significant majority of the role relates to the ability to achieve sales goals by new accounts there is also a key need to maintain the current customer requirements.
The individual will be able to develop and maintain an effective business relationship with a number of customer accounts and other company departments. You will be proactively selling to the external customer and maximising customer opportunities and handle any communications received in a professional manner.
