Our client is a company that specialises in the exciting and fast paced world of promotional merchandise. Our client Group source, manufacture and sell below the line sales promotion and merchandise products, to the top 1000 UK companies and their marketing agencies. There are three core brands under our clients umbrella: * Badge Company – supply, design and manufacture badges, key rings and fridge magnets for the promotional market. * A company specialising in sourcing general promotional products. * Bags – Specialises in sourcing and providing any type of bespoke or standard bags for all companies. Print and embroidery service available. * The offices are based in newly renovated offices in Kentish town a 10-minute walk from tube and Thames link. WORK EXPERIENCE * We are looking for candidates who have worked in an office environment during school / university holiday’s. * Sales experience is not necessary but a desire to work in sales is. PERSONAL QUALITIES * A sales role within the promotional merchandise industry requires candidates to pick up a huge amount of information therefore, excellent organisational skills a good memory and an ability to learn quickly are imperative. * The role also requires you to have the ability to be able to handle many different tasks at one time. We would like to see evidence of this skill from any previous experience. * A bright, friendly and personable character is also vital to the role - you will constantly be dealing with clients and suppliers. THE ROLE * To develop new business opportunities, via cold calling, through leads from trade magazines / seasonal events / exhibitions / directories etc. * To build up your own territory of clients and accounts * The role involves three key activities, account management, sourcing of products and sales. * You will be working to a monthly target, bonus and commission structure.
